Nursery Assistant
(fixed term contract until the end of the summer term 2023)
16 hours per week – term time only
Full time salary - £20,817 per annum (Grade 4, Point 5)
Actual salary - £7,471.22 per annum

Ibstock Day Nursery is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced nursery assistant on a fixed term contract until the end of the summer term 2023 in the first instance.
You will support the nursery team to deliver quality childcare within the EYFS framework, assist with the planning and delivery of all day to day activities in the nursery and be fully committed to the happiness, well-being, safeguarding, self-esteem and progress of all children in your care. Due to increasing numbers, this post will predominantly be based in the baby room.
The successful candidate will be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in childcare with previous experience of working with children. You will have a good knowledge of the EYFS standards/framework, other statutory requirements and codes of practice. It is essential that you are a strong team worker who is flexible and willing to work with all staff across the nursery and college.
Ibstock Day Nursery is a friendly, fun and vibrant children's nursery, providing exceptional childcare and education for children aged 6 months to 11 years of age. The nursery is based at Ibstock Community College, having over twenty years' experience in early years and a well-respected and trusted reputation within the community. The nursery is ideally situated for both staff and parents with free on-site car parking and also benefits from being close to major road networks including the M1 and A42, putting it within easy reach of Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.
